Your plan will combine direct instruction, small-group work, and one-on-one tutoring in a way that works for your student.There’s currently a Maker Movement happening in education brought on by the STEM push. Such concrete experiences provide a meaningful context for understanding abstract Science, Technology is the conduit, Engineering to young learners, and Math concepts.

Delciane Wright is an educator whose skills include Classroom Instruction, Web Design, Project Management, Course Management Software’ and Research. Also includes teaching Robotics to early elementary students in After-School programs.
Delciane Wright is currently a Doctor of Education Candidate in in the Technology arm of the Mathematics, Science and Technology Department of Teachers.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics Education from Pace University. Wright earned both a Masters of Arts and a Masters of Education from Columbia University Teachers College. In addition, she is certified to teach Secondary Mathematics to grades 7-12.
Ms. Wright has an extensive history with Columbia University’s Teachers College that includes serving as a Technology Associate. She has also participated in several research projects at the University that covered topics such as: the development of mathematics software packages for early elementary students; a qualitative study on connections between Block Pay and mathematics for early elementary students; and a study on robotics’ connection to mathematics and science with elementary students.
